Dr. Golden Vu

Dr. Golden Vu graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 1997 with a B.S. degree in Biology. He received his D.M.D. degree from Southern Illinois University, School of Dental Medicine in 2002. Dr. Vu grew up in Chicago and moved to Madison, WI after graduating from dental school. In 2004, he joined our practice and has been providing professional, exceptional dental care to his patients.

Dr. Vu enjoys spending time with his patients and listening to their concerns. He is deeply committed to delivering the highest quality care with compassion and a gentle touch. His goal is to provide a personal and comfortable experience for all of his patients. Dr. Vu is a member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, and the Dane County Dental Society.

When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Vu enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Millie, and their daughter, Alyssa and son, Caden. They especially enjoy visiting the Northwoods of Wisconsin and Door County. He also spends time playing volleyball, going bowling, and attending UW athletic events.

Dr. Fatima Wasti

Dr. Fatima Wasti grew up in Dubai, UAE where she earned her D.D.S. at Ajman University of Science & Technology in 2011. She later moved to the United States, making Madison, WI her new home. Dr. Wasti then continued to pursue her passion for dentistry by graduating from A.T.Still University with a MPH-D (Masters of Public Health - Dental) in 2018, followed by a D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2020.

Dr. Wasti firmly believes in creating a positive and comfortable environment for all her patients. She is committed to providing the highest level of care to help her patients achieve optimal oral health, increase their self-confidence, and therefore improving overall quality of life.

Dr. Wasti is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association and is dedicated to expanding her knowledge and refining her skills through continuing education courses and advanced training in the latest dental treatments, techniques, and technology. Dr. Wasti is an Invisalign, ALD (Academy of Laser Dentistry) and AAFE (American Academy of Facial Esthetics) Certified provider. She also serves as a board member for the Wisconsin Dental Study Club and More Smiles Wisconsin.

When out of the office, Dr. Wasti enjoys traveling, reading, and most of all, spending time with her son, Ahmad.

Dr. Jerzy Wozniak

Dr. Jerzy Wozniak grew up in Chicago and completed his undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Illinois School of Dentistry, graduating with his D.D.S. in 2003. He maintained a successful practice in the Pacific Northwest before relocating back to the Midwest in 2015 to be closer to family. Dr. Wozniak brings his experience and friendly manner to our practice providing quality care for patients while making them feel at ease.

Dr. Wozniak, his wife, and their three children are happy to be making their home in the Madison area. In addition to dentistry, he enjoys gardening, fly fishing, auto racing, ice hockey and spending time with his family.

I love the people at Isthmus Dental. We work hard as a team to provide the best possible dentistry to our patients. My job as business manager involves working with the Isthmus Dental team on a daily basis, to keep our office running smoothly while maintaining our excellent, friendly patient care. I enjoy being outdoors bicycling, kayaking, and traveling with my husband, Mark.

I enjoy working the front desk; getting to know our patients and helping them schedule their next appointment. We truly have a wonderful staff here and we do our best to accommodate our patient’s needs. I enjoy time with my family, reading, camping and gardening in my free time.

I grew up in Madison & really enjoy living here! I want to give all of our clients the friendly, quality customer care that they deserve. When I am not in the office I enjoy spending time with my two cats and reading.

Cheryl, Dental Assistant

I will be celebrating 32 years, spring of 2020. I have to say that the time has flown by quickly. I grew up on a farm in Brooklyn, Iowa. My family still lives in the area. I moved to the Badger state in 1981, first to Stevens Point, then to Madison in 1988. My husband, Todd and I bought a one-room schoolhouse 21 years ago near Brooklyn, Wisconsin. It has truly been a labor of love. Living close to the Sugar River, you will find me riding down the bike trail, boating down the river, or walking my dog Gretta, but my favorite place to be is on my ATV. I am active in several ATV clubs and find ourselves spending most of our vacation time at different ATV riding destinations. I also enjoy my time as a “big sister” with the big brother/sister program. It has been my pleasure to get to know our patients throughout these past years. I enjoy working downtown. The practice is unique both inside and out as well as the doctors and staff. It’s great to hear out patients say “Best Experience Ever!”

Heidi, Dental Assistant

I started working as a dental assistant while in the program at MATC. I worked in the Windsor/Waunakee area for eight years before coming to this awesome practice. I have always felt very at home here with great doctors, co-workers, patients and location. I grew up in a small, rural area north or Madison and have always lived in the surrounding area. Most of my free time I enjoy spending with family and friends, riding horses, riding my Harley, watching movies or just enjoying “down time.” I actually enjoyed going to the dentists growing up, I guess bringing me to this profession. I try to help put patients at ease during treatment and try to make it the best possible experience for them.

Jamie, Registered Dental Hygienist

I started working as a dental assistant while I was in school, but once I graduated from Hygiene, I joined this office and have never looked back. I love working here and have grown to appreciate my patients, staff, the doctors, and our lovely downtown location. Originally from Janesville, Wisconsin, my parents and family still live in the area. I have lived in Madison since 2002. I have a bichon mix puppy named Symon Michael, named after Michael Symon from the Food Network! Needless to say, I enjoy cooking, and have even done some catering for events on the side. I spend a lot of my free time with friends and family. I stay busy by playing volleyball, kickball, and by walking Symon. I also love watching the Badgers, Brewers and Packers. I hope to remain active in the community by volunteering and continuing to provide the best care for my patients. I know that going to the dentist is not everyone's favorite thing to do, but I hope to make the experience as enjoyable as possible. You should walk away from our visits feeling good about your dental health, and knowing how to make your overall dental health even better.

I have been a Dental Hygienist since 1999. I enjoy helping people feel comfortable and at home here at Isthmus Dental, Ltd. I am originally from the Neenah-Menasha area and now live in Oregon with my husband, daughter and furry baby Morty! I enjoy camping, animals, reading, baking and family time.
